Move over, Ms L!

Hi all, wondering why you are looking at this jumbled up page? This is due to the fact that Facebook didn't like our url since it starts with wog, so we have been forced to move the blog. This was some time ago, and we have placed a script which would automatically send you to our new location. Obviously, this hasn't worked for all of you, since we have just finished moderating some of your comments which appeared on this site recently, and not on our new (and improved!) site. So what we're saying is head on over to our new site, and update your bookmarks!

Next week in the UK the Mail on Sunday newspaper includes a special giveaway CD – Paul McCartney live from the Amoeba Record store in Hollywood on the 27th of June, 2007.
Designed, chosen and approved by Paul McCartney himself, this is a CD that is unavailable anywhere else.
Not the same as the commercially released EP CD Amoeba's Secret, the songs included on the free disc are:

Dance Tonight (released on the Ever Present Past CD single)
C Moon (released on Amoeba's Secret)

(released on Amoeba's Secret)

Recordings from the concert has also appeared elsewhere, the Santa Monica public radio station KCRW featured several songs as well as an interview with McCartney on their show, "Morning Becomes Eclectic" September 5th, 2007.

C Moon
That Was Me
Blackbird

An uninterrupted show featuring even more songs from this concert made it's debut in better quality on the notorious norwegian NRK radio station P1 on the 9th of November, 2007.
NRK P1 played:

Drive My Car
Only Mama Knows
Dance Tonight
C Moon
That Was Me

Two of the songs from the Amoeba concert were nominated for Grammy Awards last year: "I Saw Her Standing There" (Best solo rock vocal performance) and "That Was Me" (Best male pop vocal performance). Neither won.

Also in the Mail on Sunday package, in the new look Live magazine included with the newspaper there is an exclusive interview with McCartney by GQ editor and Live columnist Dylan Jones, with previously unseen backstage pictures.
